I paid my car off today! Whoop, Whoop! If you have been following with us on our monthly financial goals posts, you know that we have had the money in savings for about two months to pay our car off, but my husband wanted to wait on parting with all that cash. Well, today was the day! I'm so excited to be rid of that payment ($410/mo.), and more importantly, meeting our goal!

Way to go!! I bet that feels SO good to get your car paid off! We also paid off our car..(a few years ago) and it is an amazing feeling, and it almost feels like the car drives differently now that it is paid off! Its so great!

Congrats! I hope to pay off our vehicle next month, but I am having trouble convincing my hubby to part with the money, too.
Thanks guys, I'm pretty excited although it's actually for sale right now. We need something bigger with #3 on the way. At least we are done with that payment and will not be taking another on when we get something new. Feels good!

Erika good job! I pay extra every month on our car payment but we are not able to pay it off just yet. This house keeps our extra cash flow busy, especially with it being a cosmetic fixer,lol! Can't wait to hear more about your financial goals you have accomplished, W2G!

Erika, a little late but wanted to congratulate you on paying off your car and especially on hearing that you plan on buying another one with cash. I'm a huge fan of Dave Ramsey as well and can't believe the difference living without debt has made on our lives. Thanks for being so transparent with your finances:) I'm sure it is an encouragement to many.
