Safeway

Have any of you received this flier in the mail? I just got it this week. It says that I get 10% off grocery purchases now through 2/27/09! I was wondering how it would work, if I had to call customer service or do anything, but when I made a quick stop to Safeway this morning, my 10% came of automatically! So watch for it in your mail or call customer service to see if it can be added to your club card as well.
This is my birthday girl. Her actual birtday was over the weekend, but we are having a birthday party for her tonight. I can hardly believe she's two already. I absolutely love having a little girly girl. Oh, and on another note, I got to hear the new babies heart beat for the first time this morning! What a wonderful sound!

Here's what I got at Safeway this morning. The makings for Journey's birthday cake - our tradition - ice cream cakes!
1/2 gallon Lucerne icecream
1 Oreo pie crust
1 Smucker's magic shell topping
Used:
- $5 gift card
- 10% discount
$.03 bag credit
OOP = $2.52

How cool Erika! I hope I get one of those 10% coupons too. Great deal on the ice cream cake. Can't wait to celebrate later. Ava and I are already drooling. How exciting to hear the baby's heart beat.

Just wanted to say that I love the name Journey! Such a cool unique name. My girls are named Kennedy, Regan and Sailor. We just celebrated Sailor's 8th birthday on Tuesday. Have a fun party!

Thanks Lisa, your girl's names are cute too. I have always loved unique names and I am lucky enough to have married a guy who doesn't care :)

Happy belated Birthday, Journey! They do grow up so fast. So, how do you make the ice cream cake? Just thaw the ice cream & put it into the crust and drizzle on the choc sauce? I think I might have to try that. I LOVE Goo Goo Cluster, too! :)

Congrats on hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time! How exciting!
