What's your take on Zaycon foods?

I actually just ordered a case for myself! I have a good friend that has been buying organic/natural for much longer than I have been (they actually have their own chickens, cow for milk & to make dairy products from, buy their pork & beef from local farmers, etc). She emailed to let me know about Zaycon foods yesterday. When I asked her what her opionion about how they would compare to New Seasons chicken breasts, here's what she said:

"They do buy from Sanderson Farms, and there is unfavorable info out there about them -- but there is also unfavorable info about Pacific Village (where New Seasons gets theirs). Sanderson's growers all keep their chickens uncaged except for when they go to be processed. They are more crowded than a family farm, but the pictures I have seen are reasonable for a bulk producer."

She bought 3 cases.

While I haven't seen the chicken breasts yet, from the pictures, they look like the ones I get from New Seasons (much different than conventional frozen chx breasts in the bag).

Hope that helps!

Hi. I noticed the pacific chicken breast is on sale 2.99 down from 4.99. Is this a stock-up price?

Thank you so much! : )

Yes, definitely a stock up price if it is boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I didn't notice that in the ad. I'm going to have to check that out in store!
