Organic & Natural Living Thursday

I think one way to continue to help pull our country out of the recession and strengthen our financial base is to make a conscious effort to buy things grown and manufactured in the USA. What better way to do that than by shopping at your local Farmers' Markets? You know the produce is fresh, who is growing it, and can ask any questions you have about growing practices directly to the farmer!

May seems to be the kickoff month for many Farmers' Markets. You can go HERE to see a list of all the Farmers Markets in Oregon, or HERE to do a search for your area of the country.

We went to the Portland Farmers Market today! Had such a blast! I so love going to Farmers Markets! Here's my blog post about today: -- It was our first trip in what will hopefully be a weekly occurrence!
