Don't miss the $1o off $50 coupon on the back page of the Food Day section in the Oregonian today. It is good until 9/8, and does not have a start date so it can be used today.

My understanding from the coupon is that you can no longer apply fluid dairy products or "safeway card club savings" products toward the $50. Also, my friend went in on the last $10 off $50 coupon at the Safeway on McLoughlin in Milwaukie and the checker told her it was only for edible products--she ended up having to purchase an additional $20 in groceries to get the discount. I am deeply disturbed by this. I am hoping the checker was wrong.
