I've been wanting to stop by some children's resale shops lately but haven't had the time. This is a slow week for me and I finally had a chance to do some shopping for the baby. I don't need a ton of clothes since I'm having another girl.
Grace & Hope for Children
Children's Boutique
6432 Se 82nd Ave
Portland, OR 97266
My first stop was to Grace & Hope. You can bring in used children's clothes & get a trade in value to buy other items. They have infant to about 6T size clothing, shoes, backpacks, bassinets, toys, and bedding/bumpers. All proceeds to go china's orphaned & adopting families etc..
I got the items above (BTW, the shoe's were brand new and fit Ava perfectly & the other items are for the baby) for $11.25 (which included a 10% discount on yellow tagged items.)
Small Wonders
7979 Se Foster Rd
Portland, OR 97206
The shoes $3 & dress/onesie $7 were new, and the other onesie's (Preemie) came in a group of 3 for $6.50 for a total of: $16.50.
This store is a lot more pricey & you can't haggle down on the prices. I may go back to get another pair of newborn boots I liked that were reasonable priced. You can bring clothes, toys, cribs, car seats, maternity clothes etc... there and you will get 40% of the profit that is sold, not bad. The only thing about the toys is that they are way overpriced for being used. You could get a lot of the items there at Garage sales or Goodwill for half if not less.
If you know of some other great places to shop at for infant & children please leave a comment.
Thanks,
Christina

Good deals and cute little outfits! One place I like to shop is Baby to Baby. It's on the west side of PDX. Their prices are sometimes better than others, same with their selction. If you're ever over on the west side though it's worth looking at if you haven't before.
My most favorite place to shop for baby stuff is Back on the Rack. It's all the way over in Hillsboro though so I rarely go there. They have a very big selection and good prices.
I do garage sales through craigslist. I look up gender/size I am looking for, and it has been working great. I don't have to run around so much, to see if a sale has what I want. I have purchased an insane amount of clothing for only $20, and we are nearly stocked for the next two years!!!
For Resale shops you can't beat All about Kids. Carrie has two locations. One on about 120th and Glisan and the other in downtown Gresham.
Wow, thanks everyone for your input I love hearing where others shop to find great deals that are local! I will definitely check these places out.

Buttons & Bows in Oregon City is a cute shop with a pretty large selection. She often has coupons in the OC paper for half off an item!
