Rite Aid Shopping

Being pregnant and functioning on less energy than normal has meant that I've been passing a lot of deals by that I used to get. This week Rite Aid has some great deals on items that I actually need/want, and so I made a quick trip in this morning.

My plan was to have enough items to be over the $25 mark and then use a $5/$25 coupon, then mfq to bring my total (before rebates) to $12.xx. Unfortunately, the cashier would not allow me to do that so I added in the baby wipes to get my total up.

I was really needing them anyway, so I wasn't too bummed, but just a heads up to have something extra in mind to bring your total up if the cashier says the same thing to you.

You can go here to see a complete list of the deals this week.

1 Pampers jumbo pack $8.99 (-$2 SCR)
1 Be Kool kids fever patch $1 (-$1 SCR)
1 Fever All 6ct. $1 (-$1 SCR)
1 Gillette Venus razor $7.99 (-$5 SCR)
1 Crest Pro-Health toothpaste $2.59 (-$1.84 SCR)
1 Edge shaving gel $1
2 Rolaids $1 ea.
3 Kotex lightdays $1 ea.
2 Rite Aid baby wipe refill packs $5 ea.

Used:
-$2 Pampers mfq
-$2 Venus mfq
-$1 Crest mfq (p&g savings booklet)
-$.75 Edge mfq
-2 $1 Rolaids mfq
-$1 Kotex IP
-2 $.75 Kotex mfq
Final Total: $22.32 & I will receive $10.84 in rebates!

(If I had been able to go with my original plan without the wipes, I would have spent $12.32 and received $10.84 back in rebates. Only $1.48 for a pack of diapers plus everything else!)

Sometimes they are such stinkers at RA. The other night I had a young cashier so I knew he would do it "my way" and take the $5 off coupon off first. I think it's best to go at night when the young ones are working! lol Still a good deal nonetheless.
