Rite Aid: 75% Clearance

Just a quick heads up for those of you planning on shopping at Rite Aid this week. Keep your eyes peeled for random items marked 75% off in the isles.

Today I found Rite Aid baby wipes marked 75% off, and was able to get 2 refill packs for $1.74 each (last week I paid $10 for two!). I noticed many of the isles with 1-2 items marked with 75% off stickers.

Don't forget to check for SCR items that are on clearance. I know the L'Oreal HIP lipgloss was 75% off last week making them $2.25 ea. Use it with the $2/1 insert cpn & wyb $13 worth, you can submit for the $5 SCR!! The $13 is BEFORE mfg coupons. I ended up paying $1.50 for 6 lipgloss & already have my $5 SCR approved!

Also, there are reports that the Dental Night Guard is on clearance at 75% off (making it $6.xx) & there is a SCR for $14 wyb one! Not a bad MM, if you can find it. They weren't on clearance at my stores!

I went to Rite Aid last night to get in on the Huggies Diaper deal. I got one pack of Huggies Mega diapers and two packs of little swimmers. I had (one) $1.50/1 manf coupon for the Mega diapers and (two) $1.50/1 manf coupons for each of the little swimmers. No big deal one would think right? I noticed the manager eyeballing me and came over when I was purchasing my 3 items and told me (he wasn't nice either) that Rite Aid has a new policy that you can only use ONE coupon per transaction for items. So he was not going to let me use BOTH little swimmer coupons. I was like "Why?". He said that Rite Aid is not getting reimbursed for all these coupons that people are using. He said that the manufacture has a montly limit on coupons they reimburse and Rite Aid never gets reimbursed for the coupons - so they are limiting the amount people can use. Have ANY of you EVER heard this? I have shopped other Rite Aids and used multiple coupons all the time and have never heard this. I think he was just making this up to annoy me. Not exactly sure what his problem was.

Anyway - just wondering if anybody else has ever been told this. This manager has given me greif before so I have an email out to corperate. I don't think I will shop at that Riteaid anymore (even though it's 2 minutes from the rental house and more convenient for me).
