I made a quick run to Safeway yesterday needing half & half for a crab chowder that we were making. I decided to add a few things that were free or almost free. Yes, it's all junk food, but it sure was good and it's a rarity around here.1 quart half & half $2.29
1 Breyers ice cream
6 Nestle candy bars (on sale buy 3, get 3 free)
2 Pringles chips ($.50 overage w/ mfq, e-savers & DBL)
Used:
-$1 Breyer's mfq
-2 BOGO candy bar mfq (if I would have had 3 of these, I would have gotten all 6 candy bars for free. Instead I paid $.89 for one and got the rest free. Still a pretty good deal!)
-2 $1 Pringles mfq from P&G savings booklet
-$1/2 P&G e-savers
-$1.50 DBL
Final Total: $3.68 for a 74% savings!

I have 6 of the B1G1 coupons for the Mars candy bars. I went to the register with 12 candy bars but the cashier was only going to let me use 3 of my 6 coupons, making me pay for 3 of the bars. I didn't want to do this so I left. Any ideas on how to get them to use all 6 coupons?
I don't buy Mars candy bars because they advertise on David Letterman and Letterman is disrepectful to women and children. I also don't buy pepsi because Pepsi just sponsored 4 more gay parades. http://www.boycottpepsico.com/
