I am so excited to announce that I will be having another girl 11/12th. So far, so good on this pregnancy and our little baby girl is healthy. We are thinking of naming her Zoe or Blakley.
A quick update on what's been going on. With the many blessings in life, also comes hardship. I just found out about a week ago that my part-time job at one of the largest hospitals in Portland, will be eliminated my position due to budget cuts. These times are definitely tough for all of us. I was most definitely sad when I found out, since I have been there for over 8 years and I'm pregnant. But I can say, that I am truly excited to be home with my daughter Ava full-time, and focus more on our family, and of course saving money and meal planning (which is something I need help with, ha!)
Thanks readers for all your support and help with finding us and our viewers good deals to help all our families & friends save more money.
Blessings,
Christina

I have been reading your blog for a few months. I love to see a more local savings blog! Good luck with your new baby....My daughter's name is Blakely, she is 1 &1/2. It's a very unusual name and we love it.
Oh that's so fun, another girl!! Ava is one of the cutest girls I've seen and I'm sure your next one will be adorable! Glad everything is looking good. I'm hoping to get my ultrasound soon. I'm waiting on some insurance stuff before I can get one but I'm getting impatient!!
Hope you have fun staying at home full time!
Best of luck!!
Ohh - Congratulations on your new baby girl!! How fun. I love those names - especially Blakely. I love unusual names. My kids names are Braylen, (boy age 6), Karyss (Pronounced like "Paris" with a "K" - my 3 year old girl) and the most unusual is my 1 year old daughter Ryenna - pronounced RY-EN-NA. So - a little different. I have yet to find another Karyss or Ryenna. I have seen Braylen around though. :-) You will do great being home - The Lord always provides!! It's pretty amazing sometimes!
I'm so excited to have another neice! Girls are so much fun. I'm glad the ultrasound went well and that she cooperated :)

Congratulations on that healthy baby girl. My vote is for Zoe. :)
Sorry for the loss of your job! Your frugal habits will continue stretching your family's finances a long way though. Glad that you'll get to be home with your 2 girls.
Hi everyone! thank you so much for the comments and the words of encouragement and letting me know your children's names. It's so much fun deciding on the names for your kids.
Becca, I hope u get ur u/s soon & everything works out with the insurance. It's crazy how expensive medical insurance is. You will have to let me know your due date since we are pretty close in our pregnancy.

Congratulatons on another healthy baby girl! I just found your blog recently, but appreciate that the savings are geared toward the local area. I'm sorry to hear about your job tho, that is a major bummer (but great for your little sweetie that you'll be home with her full time).
Hey Christina, I just thought I'd let you know that we finally had our ultrasound today and we are also having a girl!! We're very excited, of course. We were kind of hoping for a girl. My due date is Nov 26th, so I'm just a couple weeks behind you. :-)
