Nice job Erika! Hey do you know how much the Pledge was this week? Also how much was the Good Earth coffee? That is my FAVORITE:-)

Heather, the Good Earth was $6.99 and I used a $1 IP. Probably not the best price, but I needed it.

Thanks girls:-) Great deals on both...$5.99 is good in my book for my fav coffee! Hopefully the King rd Safeway will be stocked on the Pledge tomorrow.

Great job - I love your blog and check in daily for NW deals. Thanks!
I have a question about the Safeway 10/50 coupon - how do you get your total lower than 40.00? My store takes all the coupons, including MFC BEFORE they will take the 10.OO coup., so I have to make sure that after all my coupons I still have a 50.00 total. How does it work for you?

Jami ~ Awhile ago, Safeway put out a $10/$50 in the Sunday paper & it stated that the discount "was before store coupons, club savings AND mfg coupons". The most recent $10/$50's have not had the exclusion of mfg coupons, so I explain that to my cashier IF they give me any hassle. I also keep a copy of the one WITH the exclusion so I can show them the difference between the two.

Jami, I kinda do what Pam was explaining. I've also found through trial and error which stores are more flexable with those coupons and try to shop at those stores. Then I just hope it all goes according to plan :)
