IT'S A................

GIRL!!!!
The baby was very cooperative in showing us that she is indeed a GIRL! We are very excited. Everyone in our family was rooting for another girl (even Aspen!). Everything looks healthy and on track size-wise. I do have to go back in 3 weeks for them to check on something with the placenta. Hopefully it will have corrected itself in that time and there will be no other issues. Also, the baby is head down. I know they can change, but Journey was breech at 18 weeks all the way until 37 weeks when they had to manually turn her. I am hopeful that we won't have that problem again. The "turning" part was painful!

CONGRATULATIONS, Erika!! How exciting! I was thinking girl before I opened your blog!! YAY! I'd LOVE another girl, too. How did Aspen do? Was he excited to see his new baby sister? I can't wait to start ttc again!!

Thanks! Aspen did great. He did get a little bored in the middle, but my husband's i-phone games kept him occupied. I think he felt special to be involved since we just took him and not his sister. We had a coffee "date" after the ultrasound which he loved too. It had been a while since just him and I had gone on a date :)

Congratulations! I am partial to girls, since I have three of my own. I love the names you picked for your children. Can't wait to see what name you will give this one.
