I'm 14 weeks along now, and am so happy that the nausea has subsided and I have most of my normal energy back. I started taking extra Vitamin B6 and a half a tablet of unisom at night from the beginning of my pregnancy (something recommended by my midwives the last two pregnancies for the nausea), and I think that has really made a difference for me this time around. This has been my easiest pregnancy by far.
This week, my son along with a couple other cousins has spent most of the week at his grandparent's house. Journey and I have taken advantage of our time together by doing some fun things like going to sushi, going to the mall and to coffee. I also took her with me to my midwife appointment this week. She got to hear the babies heart beat and was quite fascinated by it. We also got to schedule the ultrasound. We should find out the sex of the baby in 4 weeks! I am just dying to know what we are having!
Also, I decided to take the week off of coupon shopping. There weren't any good deals I was interested in this week so I decided to shop at the Asian market and at Trader Joes instead. Journey absolutely loves going to the Asian market with the tanks of live fish, lobster and crab, and even better, Christina and Ava joined us at the Asian market this week. We had a great time!

How fun! I follow your blog and I am 14 weeks pregnant too. This pregnancy is my third and has also been the easiest so far. I didn't have too much nauseau, but I am still waiting for my energy to return. Good luck and I can't wait to hear updates. :)
Congrats to you too! Maybe our bodies are just getting used to being pregnant? Who knows. You will have to post a comment on what you are having, if you find out. I have no real feeling on the sex of the baby this time. It seems to change daily. Hopefully the baby will cooperate!

Hi Erika! Ava and I had a lot of fun at the Asian Market. We made yummy shrimp (Spring)rolls Friday night and the Rice noodles with Pork (sub for Chicken)Saturday night, and it was soooooo good!. I love that 82nd heading south from Foster has so many places to shop for Asian food. We will have to try Fubon & that other Market by Foster soon. Congrats on hearing the heartbeat, so exciting.

Hi Erika:
COngratulation for the ittle one. I did not check for ALbertsons after a terrible experience weeks ago, then both of my boys caught the flu:( Anyway, I am so happy that you get your energy back. Love to hear your pregnancy update. :) Wish you all the best!

Don't you look too cute! I'm glad you're feeling better. That's interesting about the Unisom. Be sure to post when you find out the gender of your baby! Good luck!
