Weekly Spending
Groceries: $20.79
Savings: $146.57
Household: $49.19
Savings: $135.79
Total OOP: $69.98 (a little more than I wanted to spend. But I really wanted to stock up on the diapers at Albertsons this week.)
Total Savings: $282.36
Since, I am doing the cash envelope method & started out with $200 for grocery & $50 for household items each month. As, of last week I had $150.77 available for groceries & $29.02 available for household. I've decided to combine it since there are times where I spend less or more OOP on grocery/household items. I think $250 is plenty for the month. Truly I am at the point where my freezer is full and I just need the necessities like, milk, cheese, eggs, produce etc...
As of today, I have $109.81 available for the month & I have $15 in Albies Catalina's, (2) $30 GC from Safeway (for New Rx), and $15 GC from Olay Dinifity Rebate (that I will be mailing).

Do you count your gc's in the amount you have to spend since you use cash? Just wondering since I am starting a cash system this month also and working on getting some gc from wags and RA.
Hi Susan, I don't count the amount of GC's I have towards the $250 I have available for Grocery/Household spending.
However, I do count my GC's because of the Total Savings, even though there is no OOP cost. I hope that made sense. HTH...
