Weekend Grocery Shopping

I finally got out to do a little grocery shopping. I was craving sushi so we went to Albertsons for some ingredients I needed for that. We went to Safeway mostly for the fishy crackers (kids fav!), and for a free tea latte. So far I like the London Fog the best.

Albertsons
5 lbs. calirose rice
1 Kikomann soy sauce
2 Albies cottage cheese
4 Albies tomato paste
1 avocado
2 lbs. ground beef
1 redbox dvd (free w/ code)
$20.46

USED:
4 $5 Cats from last week's grocery deals
Total: $.46

Safeway
10 bags fishy crackers
6 Reeses whips bars
2 Foster Farms ground turkey breast BOGO
3 sausages (marked down to $1.99 and had $1 peelies on them!)
1 lemon
1 lime
1 Starbucks tea latte (free!)

USED:
3 $1/2 reeses mfq
2 $1 sausage peelies (cashier forgot one of them)
-$2 SFWY doubles
=$19.01

I am hoping that I will feel a little better this week so that I can get out to Walgreens and Rite Aid, but I'm not going to push myself too much. I don't have anything I really need so we'll see how much motivation I can muster up :)

Has anyone tried using the Baby Cats for regular grocery items? I would consider food a part of "baby care", but not sure Albies would see it my way. I sure don't need any diapers or wipes!!

Anna,
I have used the baby cats multiple times for regular grocery items, and have never had a problem.
