I started using coupons back in January of 2008. Erika had been telling me about "The Grocery Game" and how you need to shop when items are on sale at rock bottom price with coupons. I was skeptical at first, and had a 6 month old & worked 3 days a week. I didn't know if I had the time to clip coupons and keep up. Well, after signing up for $1 for the first 4 weeks I started seeing the savings. After about 6 months of that, I decided that I could do this on my own & canceled my membership. I have been able to watch the weekly ads & match coupons myself.
Here is my pantry outside of our kitchen. It's a blessing to have a place to put all our loot!!
I tend to buy the detergent that is for 32 loads, usually anything "Free & Clear" and if it's on sale for $3.99 or less. With coupons & doubles you are practically getting them for $1.50 each.
I'm pretty much stocked up on Free cereal, $.19 oatmeal, and Free broth!
Most of these items are from Walgreens. I don't shop at Rite Aid (yet...), one drugstore is enough for me. It's amazing that you can get Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Shampoo/Conditioner, Razors, Foil, you name it for Free or close to it by using coupons & Rebates!
So, it's nice they are getting good homes to go to.

Very inspiring pictures. Thanks for sharing.
AMAZING. You are clearly organized. How do you log what you spend/save? I need a system to keep track of my new hobbby.
Wow, looks so nice and organized :) Looks great!

Thanks for the shout outs ladies!
Anna, this new hobby will be time consuming but worth it (and addicting), lol!! I keep track of Grocery/Household items weekly by posting my Weekly Spending. I plan on doing a Monthly Budget check up,since I am doing the cash envelope system.
I don't put my savings in a xl.spreadsheet but I plan on doing that later this month so I can look at it quartly.
Thanks,
Christina
