Wilde Update

Ryan is working at Allergy Associates Research Center for COPD and Asthma patients. He will be starting his Graduate Program at OHSU for the Clinical Science Program on 9/17/08. This will be a 15 month program. He plans on working when graduated and in the meantime will be applying for DO school in Yakima and MD school at OHSU. I am still working at OHSU Digestive Health Center ( about 7 1/2 years now) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thankfully, I get to stay home with Ava Thursday-Sunday. I really cherish our time together and love watching her grow and learn. It truly is a blessing to have little ones. Right now she has transitioned from 2 naps a day to 1 nap a day starting at 12:30. So far, so good! I like to do things cold turkey and for the most part it works. We stay busy in the Am's with running errands, seeing friends, or playing around the house. Since I'm addicted to coupons and getting the best deals we go to our favorite stores (Safeway, Albertson's, and Walgreen's)!

Recently, she just started walking as of her 15 month birthday this month. She loves cruising along and doing something new & getting into my makeup when I'm not looking. Ryan and I are so proud of her and applaud her every time she walks. She doesn't say words much but jabbers a ton. She thinks everything is a cell phone which is cute.

She loves going for walks, bike rides in her bike trailer, and playing with cousin's and friends. She definitely is a Mama's girl and loves for mom to hold her and at least be close by. She does throw fits but we are trying to ignore them so she will stop. Ryan is better at tough love than I am. I like to give in and not have fuss but of course we need to teach our little ones boundaries.
BTW, I am still learning how to use my blog and post pictures (so this is all new to me).
