I'm getting the paper for free right now from the Winterhawks for 13 weeks! I wonder if I can do this for when that ends? Definitely worth a call. :)

Hey Sarah, if you already have the The Oregonian subscription then you are not eligible until after 30 days from the day you cancel to get the $.84 a week deal. I just ended my subscription and have to wait 30 days before I can renew to get on this deal. HTH.
BTW, what is the winterhawks deal?

Thanks,
Christina

I got a letter in the mail that the Winterhawks wanted to send me the paper for 13 weeks for free! I did have to do a follow up call to the Oregonian when it didn't start on the date that they said it would. Their customer service is so good! Random because I was debating whether or not to get the paper again!

So I just called the Oregonian and I was able to do the $.84 deal starting the 28th (the last day to signup for it) because I had a free paper and not a subscription! But I did have to cut short my Winterhawks deal. :( Oh well I got a free paper for a few weeks! They also have an additional deal to extend it after the $.84 runs out (sometime in October) for I think it was $1.70ish a week for the next cycle (sometime in January). Yay for a cheaper paper! Thanks for the info!

Just called them back to see if I could still let the free deal run out and start the sub. on top of it (so double papers on the weekend for a bit) and it was no problem. So double the coupons for me for a bit! My recycle bin will be busy.

i tried to sign up online through the link, and clicked the 84 cents choice, but then the next page says it is $1/week- anyone else have that problem and know how to fix it? thanks!

Why do they always leave Clark county out of these paper deals! :(

I have found the best way to get this is to call and if they tell you that you can't have more than 1 subscription, call back. She had to make sure someone else was reading the other paper, not sure what that was about, but my husband has his own copy now. LOL
Whenever I see a stand I always push for what other states are offering to couponers. Eventually Oregon will catch on....I hope.
I am going to link to you, thanks for sharing.
